Charmaine Sykes

Charmaine Sykes is an attorney who exclusively engages in the practice of Social Security disability law. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree, Magna Cum Laude from Loyola University in New Orleans in 1991. Thereafter, she attended Loyola Law School, was a member of Law Review, and received a Juris Doctor Degree, Cum Laude in May 1994.

In addition to practicing law, Ms. Sykes currently teaches a Social Security disability Skill Course at Loyola Law School. She is a member of the Louisiana State and American Bar Associations, the National Organization of Social Security Claimant Representatives, the Southern Poverty Law Center, the EarthJustice Legal Defense Fund, and the Young Leadership Council of Greater New Orleans. She is also serving on the Board of Directors of Young Audiences.
